Stockholm awarded the smartest city in the world

Beating Bristol, Curitiba, Montevideo, Seoul and Teheran.

Yesterday, Stockholm received the Smart City Award 2019 at Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona. The City’s leadership of the EU project GrowSmarter played a strong part in receiving the award.

– It is really exciting that Stockholm has been awarded the smartest city! With the help of digital solutions and openness, we offer the Stockholmers the highest quality of life and the best opportunities for businesses to develop and grow. We will continue our successful journey towards a financially, ecologically and socially sustainable city.
