Klättermusen’s new minimalistic daypack clings close to the user’s body for unimpeded mobility
The Swedish outdoor brand enters the lightweight range area with new ski touring backpack Ull, made of 100% recycled polyamide.
Emphasizing a lightweight format and a low center of gravity for ski touring, Ull offers a full range of user-based functionality that Klättermusen has become known for in a very compact format. It’s made for all users seeking a backpack for daylong outings regardless of experience level or use.
Lightweight and ergonomic, the construction keeps the center of gravity low and close to the body to track its movements very closely. S-shaped shoulder straps, with a 4-point cord instead of a traditional sternum strap helps to distribute the tension over a larger area, thus increasing stability to keep it firmly in place. A removable foam plate inside the pack helps stabilize the pack itself and serves as a bivy pad.
Ull comes with an ice axe holder within easy reach, while both skis and poles are easily attached to the outside. The internal pocket is adapted for storing avalanche tools, and a helmet can be stored inside the lid. The cinch opening and adjustable closure hook not only helps compress the contents but allows for a wide range of packing.
