IKEA just launched their viral DIY-styled KNORVA Hat online
Constructed from the FRAKTA bag and ”easy to carry with you”.
After Demna Gvasalia flipped the $1.49 accessory on its head with a premium $2,145 version for Balenciaga, both Pleasures and Chinatown Market followed by turning the cheap-yet-durable shopping bag into a six-panel hat, Hypebeast reports.
DIYers have then turned the Swedish company’s bag into bucket hats and IKEA, who’s featured it in selected brick-and-mortar stores for quite some time, now follow up on the hype by making it available online. It would also have been available at all U.S. physical locations, but the furniture brand just temporarily closed all 50 stores as the coronavirus spreads.
KNORVA is constructed from the FRAKTA bag’s blue polypropylene material, with the IKEA-branded carrying handle utilized above the brim. The product description is quite comedic; the piece is merely a ”hat” that is ”easy to carry with you.”IKEA KNORVAIKEA FRAKTAIKEA
