Helly Hansen announces Puma collab today, moving from the sea to the street

Combining their highly technical knowledge and outdoor expertise with the latter’s sports heritage and casual DNA.

Edited by: Johan Magnusson

Founded in Norway more than 140 years ago with the creation of waterproof clothing for sailors, Helly Hansen is a leader in sailing and performance ski apparel, as well as premium workwear. Through bold designs, their technical and protective outerwear left its mark on 1990’s hip-hop subculture and streetwear.

The new collection is multifaceted, pays tribute to the two brands’ heritage and takes inspiration from the vibrant 90s era. It also incorporates a modern twist by adding outdoor-inspired details and elements.

The Puma x Helly Hansen Nitefox kick features a transparent heat cut TPU formstrip, zig zag stitching, round laces and bungee cord. Adorned with a polyester webbing tape and nubuck details on quarter, the Trailfox MTS arrives with a heritage nylon and suede upper as well as a mesh tongue with jacquard taping Helly Hansen’s logo. The sneaker pack is reinforced with the Cell Omega featuring a heat cut Puma logo on the heel plus Puma and HH branding on the tongue.

The collection also includes cozy, reversible jackets with all-over-print graphics or logo graphics at the back featuring water repellant clever fabric to protect from wind and wet conditions. It extends to co-branded apparel with Puma x Helly Hansen graphics on such as comfortable vests, hoodies with kangaroo pockets, pants with warming fleece and tees. Accessories like a fisherman beanie and an oversized waistbag completes your outfit.
