Copenhagen Fashion Week’s AW20 schedule includes Rains, Tonsure, Wood Wood, and Selam Fessahaye shows plus further menswear and sustainability focus

The strong lineup also sees the return of the likes of Soulland, mfpen, Henrik Vibskov, 7 Days, Holzweiler, and Stand.

Marking the transformation from rainwear specialists to an all-weather lifestyle concept, Rains presents its first runway show at the official schedule of the leading Scandinavian fashion week in January. Entering a new era of dynamic innovation and product development, the brand tells, their brand aesthetic has been stretched, creating its own categories that range from light to heavy outerwear, as well as a wide range of functional accessories.

Copenhagen Fashion Week AW20 will open with Carcel, further proving the organization’s sustainable focus. Other examples include upcycling brands (di)vision and Rave Review entering the official schedule.

— With our presenation, we want to create a universe and a journey that inspires the viewer. Being on the schedule also gives us the possibility to challenge our creativity and transfer our energy and vision to something more physical. We are looking so much forward to showing everything we have been working on for the past year and to show that we are more than just two-coloured bomber jackets, says (di)vision founder Simon Wick.

As previously communicated, the show locations will be located closer to each other, aiming to avoid unnecessarily long transports.

To Fashion Forum, Fashion Week CEO Cecilie Thorsmark opens up for an extended schedule at the coming editions, stretching it from three to four show days.
