Carin Rodebjer: ”I’ve always felt a connection with Jacob which stretches to the very core of creativity”
The designer joins forces with Swedish composer Jacob Mühlrad for a creative collab.
Last Friday saw the first performance of Mühlrad’s new work ”Time” at Konserthuset in Stockholm. In conjunction with the premier, Jacob Mühlrad by Rodebjer was released.
— The collab celebrates all kinds of creation and the inspiration behind it comes from the idea that creating is a place where time expires. The project highlights how we connect and create through different expressions. The result is a unisex T-shirt made of organic cotton, featuring the musical symbol fermata, says Carin Rodebjer.
Why was Jacob the perfect partner?
— I’ve always felt a connection with Jacob which stretches to the very core of creativity. When I was asked to design a T-shirt for his coming tour, I saw it not only as a privilege, but also a possibility to meet through different creative expressions.
What else do you have coming?
— We’re now launching Pre-Spring 20, inspired by psychologist Rosmary Woodruff Leary, and prepare for our FW20 show, which once again will take place at Fashion Week in Copenhagen, says Rodebjer.Jacob MühlradCarin RodebjerJacob Mühlrad by Rodebjer
