Adnym Atelier’s new suit jacket is a modern hybrid, not your traditional blazer
We introduce The Key Piece, where we let the leading Nordic brands speak about one product in their range that you should discover. First out is Adnym Atelier — a brand with integrity and a subtle, thoughtful approach towards fashion in general.
The essence of the brand builds on contrasts meeting each other, says Creative Director Johni Tadi.
— For us that means the creative aspects of Beirut with its raw, undefined beauty and warmth meeting the redefined modern Stockholm with its sense of style and quality. The brand is ever evolving and progressive, yet always consistent, neutral, inspiring and relevant.
For FW19, they introduce the Rasha Jacket.
— It’s a modern hybrid, where the design and inspiration comes from the traditional blazer but the silhouette is slightly oversized. It’s suitable for both indoor as outdoor usage and features the possibility to single button the jacket as well as double buttoning it for a more formal look.
Besides its modern design, Tadi continues, the fabric is what makes this piece stand out.
— It’s a premium bonded fabric, slightly heavy at hand yet still comfortable and flexible. Due to its unique texture the fabric breathes well, withstands wind and has a minor water repellent ability.
How would you wear it?
— It’s my go-to jacket, as I don’t consider it as a regular blazer. I wear it very versatile depending on the occasion. T-shirt, shirt or knit underneath — nothing feels wrong. Regardless of what I’m doing I feel well-dressed but never formal or over-dressed, despite it being based on the traditional blazer.Johni TadiAdnym AtelierADNYMAdnym Rasha Jacket
