For AW19 the fast-growing label presented its first complete collection of ready-to-wear. And it’s inspired by fishing with subtle hints of cowboy and raving.
Eytys was founded in 2013 and is deeply rooted in the mindset of Generation Y. And it’s in the romanticizing of 90’s rave culture that their oversized shoes and garments were created. For this season they were inspired by Japanese designer Michiko Koshino’s design process and influence on the rave scene of the late 80’s in London.
And so, this collection continues to praise Eytys underground culture and the Bratz-like silhouette that has become signature for the Swedish cult brand. The distorted trousers shimmer in a subtle scale grey, and ultra-functional vests are paired off with mermaid tight skirts, topped off with high notes of bright Azur blue.
