As one of Sweden’s most established brands we already know that Acne Studios can deliver as far as fabric and materials are concerned. But it’s through the recent seasons that they have become far more advanced – and rebellious – in regard to their aesthetics.
It’s in this rebellion that Acne Studios tells the story about a modern man’s way of life. A life that’s lived through half-length rubber boots and technicolored flecked work jackets whilst also gently touching mid-century bohemia. But above all, it’s a story about survival told from the perspective of anarchists and off-grid pioneers. A gentle nudge towards the dystopian peak in recent fashion, as seen in Calvin Klein’s AW18 and Raf Simons’ SS19.
It’s in this story that this fashion rebel at Acne Studios AW19 emerges. Where it’s declared through snake-effect trenches that people that don’t behave will not wear clothes that do.Acne Studios
