”We believe it is time for a new era of men’s shoes and look forward to being a part of that development”

Scandinavian footwear brand launching premium capsule collection and Finland and Denmark’s leading menswear labels in one artist collabs each.

”We believe it is time for a new era of men’s shoes and look forward to being a part of that development”

Since the start of Vagabond, they’ve been well rooted within men’s footwear design, however, over the years the women’s shoes have come to represent the main part of the collections. As their gathered expertise in shoes derived from the making of men’s shoes, they think it’s time to celebrate this, and how it’s a part of their story and future. So they created a new special line, launching today.
– Atelier is a platform where innovation, sustainability, and outside perspectives are invited into the design process. We have been using our own archives and in-house knowledge to get a collection-in-the-collection, where extra attention has been paid to details, material, and timeless design, says co-founder and creative director Marie Nilsson Peterzén.
You chose pop singer-producer Adam Bainbridge, better known as Kindness, to front the campaign. Why was that?
– He was a given choice for us this season. On the music scene, he is a progressive force of creativity and we think his energy and his persona make him a true modern vagabond and a perfect ambassador of our message for this fall.
What are your coming plans for Vagabond?
– We believe it is time for a new era of men’s shoes and look forward to being a part of that development. For our brand in general, we keep progressing on existing markets worldwide, with sustainable design in focus. We see a lot of potential in the growing brand presence in the U.S, UK, Germany, and Italy, hence a little extra focus from our headquarters for activities on these markets. Also, there are a lot of changes in regards to customers’ shopping behavior and by staying close to our professional clients and allocating resources to our own brand channels, we aim to stay on top of that development.
